can I find out how many Personal Leave days I have available for use this
school year? This information is on each check stub you receive. Look in the lower left hand corner. The information in this table is updated automatically by the Payroll software, based on the number of days entered into AESOP.

we be paid before Spring Break? HISD employees are paid before Spring Break only if the 20th of the month falls during the Spring Break period. EXAMPLES: If the 20th is any day in the series of days of Spring Break, checks will be run and Direct Deposits made during the Spring Break period. However, if the 20th falls on the Monday after Spring Break, checks will be run and Direct Deposits made according to the regular schedule.

What are the circumstances that would allow me to have an advance on my
salary? HISD employees are never granted an advance on salaries for any reason.

are the advantages of Direct Deposit? *Direct Deposit is the most efficient means of employees receiving paychecks. *Regardless of when payday falls the employee is assured of receiving their check without any effort on his/her part. *Employees no longer have to make a trip to the bank to begin using their funds....Funds are available in some cases, on the evening before the actual stipulated payday. This varies from employee to employee, depending on the particular banking policies of your financial institution.

HISD Classroom,
Administrative and Cafeteria employees are paid 12 months per year on the
20th of each month. HISD Maintanence and Custodial employees are paid on the 1st and 15th of each month.
