About the teacher:

I was born and raised in Hereford, went to college at Texas Tech University  and have been teaching here in the Hereford School District for 21 years.  My first 2 years of teaching were at Aikman and the last 19  years have been here at Northwest.   

I am married and have 4 children:  Logan graduated from HHS in 2006 and is now with the Marine Reserves,  Austin is a Sophomore at HHS,  Branson is in 8th grade at HJH, and Alyssa is in 6th grade at HJH.

My hobbies are reading and playing the piano. 

I love teaching kindergarten!  It is the best feeling to know that I have had a part in the school experience of so many children's lives.  I hope that the memories of all my students are positive ones and that each child that has been in my classroom knows that they have been a special part of my life. I have a lot of memories & I love seeing what each new school year will bring.   I am proud of my children (both past & present) and I want them all to be the best that they can be as leaders of our town, state, and country!"
