Lubbock Coronado Tournament

Students attending the tournament were: Megan Gerber, Nathan Goodall, Mitcheel Harris, Julian Luna, Sonia Melendez, Trinh Nguyen, Ryne Ruckman, Anita Salazar, Nataly Torres, and Merrilee Yocum.

Breaking to semi-finals but not placing were:

Nathan Goodall in Domestic extemp

Mitchell Harris in Humorous

 

 
Placing at Lubbock Coronado

Nataly Torres  - 4th in Dramatic

Merrilee Yocum - 8th in Oratory and 2nd in Impromptu

Mitchell Harris - 3rd in prose and 3rd in Oratory.

Sonia Melendez - 4th in Oratory and 1st in Prose and received the Deanna Dewberry Excellence in Prose award.

Megan Gerber - 1st in LD debate and is now qualified for TFA state.
